Pictured below is an old drawing tablet – For the tech savvy among us, it’s a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet and stylus. I got it back in 2002, shortly after finishing grad school.
It’s worked out wonderfully for all my drawing needs, whether it’s been for sketches, web cartoons, or my current ninja seal books. And it’s also handy when I’m editing video in Adobe Premiere. After 15 years, I’m still using that thing!
Back in 2002, it cost me roughly $259. It still functions like new, and is hands-down one of the best hardware investments I ever made.
